Seafood specialist & founder of Rockfish and The Seahorse in Dartmouth. Passionate about sustainable fishing and simple, fresh cooking.

Kirk Gosden
Chef-Director of Rockfish, focused on delivering high-quality seafood dining and leading day-to-day restaurant operations.

Mark Hix
Renowned chef known for seasonal British cooking, foraging, and founding acclaimed restaurants including HIX Oyster & Fish House.

Sam White
Executive Chef at 45 Jermyn St, Fortnum & Mason. Known for refined modern British dishes using seasonal ingredients.

Ben Tonks
Chef Patron at The Seahorse in Dartmouth, creating seasonal, Italian-influenced seafood dishes with local produce.

Rich Adams
Chef & co-founder of Argoe, Newlyn. Known for sustainable seafood and simple, fire-led cooking inspired by the daily catch.

Thomas Lodge
Welsh chef bringing a modern edge to traditional flavours, championing seasonal, local ingredients and showcasing the best of Wales.

Neil Borthwick
Chef & restaurateur known for French-inspired cooking at The French House Dining Room and a precise, seasonal approach.

Guy Owen
Executive Chef in St Mawes, known for refined, seasonal cooking with a focus on high-quality local produce.

Luca Berardino
Chef at Andria in Dartmouth, bringing modern Italian-inspired cuisine together with the best of Devon’s seasonal ingredients.

Stephan Delourme
Chef known for his classical training and refined, technique-led approach to modern European cuisine.

Chris Eden
Executive Head Chef at Watergate Bay Hotel in Cornwall, recognised for elegant, ingredient-led cooking and a strong focus on seasonal British produce.

Mick Smith
Michael-starred at “Michael Smith” on the island of Skye & executive chef at Portminster beach Café’, celebrated for fresh, coastal-inspired dishes that highlight locally sourced seafood and produce.

Fred Alsop
Chef-owner of The Fish Market in Looe, specialising in fresh, sustainably sourced seafood with a simple, flavour-first approach. Opening a new restaurant in Kingsbridge in Spring 2026.

Jane Baxter
South Devon–based chef, food writer, and restaurateur, best known as co-founder of Wild Artichoke in Kingsbridge, which she ran for around a decade. Trained at the River Café and former head chef at Riverford’s Field Kitchen, she is known for her seasonal, vegetable-led cooking. She is also a cookbook author and regular TV contributor, including appearances on Saturday Kitchen.

Barry White
Director of the BTA with a passion for fishing and cooking seafood, especially when it comes to grilling sardines to perfection.

Lenny Pym
Local plumber and aspiring chef, bringing hands-on skills from the toolbox to the kitchen with plenty of enthusiasm and big flavour ambitions.
